Last time I visited the restaurant at number 340 Crow Road in Glasgow it was called An Lochan.
Its new proprietors, Rupert and Aisla Staniforth, the team who established Number 16 in Byres Road as a most reliable food address, have renamed it as Wee Lochan. Apparently they got fed up with sales reps calling up asking to speak to Ann Lochan or Ms Lochan. Which just goes to show that when choosing a name for a restaurant, just like naming a baby, it pays to consider how the moniker is going to play with the general public.
