As Geoff has been getting busy in the kitchen with his hollandaise sauce, I've been trawling the wine emporiums for suitable matches.
Hollandaise will clash with certain wine styles, in particular tannic reds, so I would recommend playing it safe this week with a South African Sauvignon blanc.
South Africa has a long history of producing excellent wines. They are a perfect mid-point style wise between the old world (central europe), and the new (everywhere else).
