This walk starts at Forfar Loch then gains the high ground above the town, with views to the Sidlaws and Cairngorms. From the car park at the visitor centre at the east end of Forfar Loch follow the lochside path anti-clockwise. Continue on the path, with short sections on the access road alongside, passing the clubhouse of Forfar Sailing Club.
