THE prosecutor leading the case against a Scot who is charged with murdering an 11-year-old boy in Bulgaria wants him to be sentenced to life without parole.

David Bell Bryson, 71, is accused of strangling Stanislav Mirchev in the village of Lagoshevtsi, near Vidin.

The schoolboy had gone missing on January 4 after he went to get food for a relative. His body was found 18 days later.
