WORK to expand a university's life sciences research base in a £12.5 mil-lion project to enable scientists to develop new drugs has got under way.
The University of Dundee's College of Life Sciences will be upgraded with a new £12.5m Centre for Translational and Interdisciplinary Research.
It is hoped it will enhance the institution's life sciences capacity in drug discovery, an area in which it claims to be one of the UK leaders.
