A SCOTTISH deer farmer whose customers include Nigella Lawson, Delia Smith and Gordon Ramsay has told how he donated a kidney to a stranger.
John Fletcher, of Auchtermuchty, Fife, gave one of his kidneys in a selfless act to someone he never met after deciding to become an "altruistic donor".
Before 2006, guidelines meant people could only donate organs to relatives or friends, but since then the rules have changed.
