THE extent of Scotland's worst Legionnaires' outbreak for decades may never be known, with fears those showing early symptoms and being treated in the community are not recorded officially as cases.

Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon said it was too early to say whether the Edinburgh outbreak, which claimed the life of labourer Robert Air, 56, had peaked as the number of cases rose to 61 yesterday.
