A FORMER bank nurse has been suspended for 12 months after being convicted of defrauding NHS Lanarkshire of £8500 by falsely claiming payments for shifts she hadn't worked.
A Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) panel in Edinburgh heard how an initial administrative error led Amanda King to begin a 16-month campaign of deception, completing time sheets for weekend shifts at Wishaw General hospital when she was not on duty.
