A HEALTH board has apologised to the families of three people who died after a series of errors in their care.
NHS Lanarkshire issued the apology after a Fatal Accident Inquiry found "clear faults" in the post-operative treatment of the patients.
Sheriff Robert Dickson said there was a "realistic possibility" the deaths might have been avoided if care had been of the expected standard.
