BRITAIN'S Nicola Adams made history yesterday after she was crowned the first Olympic woman boxing champion.

The former EastEnders and Coronation Street extra was roared to victory by 10,000 fans in London's ExCel chanting her name.

She sealed her win with an Ali shuffle as she comprehensively overcame China's double world champion Ren Cancan in front of a crowd including the Duchess of Cambridge.
