SCOTTISH Government Ministers spent more than £115,000 on fuel for their chauffeur-driven vehicles last year.

Taxpayers paid the £115,751 for fuel costs for the SNP Government's cars in 2011-12 – an increase of £15,000 on the previous year.

The rise was revealed under Freedom of Information laws.

Scottish Green co-leader Patrick Harvie hit out at the SNP's "love of the car".
