A BRITISH IT expert who was held captive in Iraq for two-and- a-half years has said the Foreign Office should have been "more aggressive" in its attempts to free a kidnapped Scottish aid worker who was murdered in Pakistan.
Peter Moore, from Lincoln, said officials should have tried a new approach when it became clear that Khalil Dale, from Dumfries, was not going to be freed.
Mr Dale's body was found on Sunday in an orchard near the city of Quetta, in the lawless Baluchistan province on the border with Afghanistan. He was reported to have been beheaded.
