The organisers of the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow said they would be the biggest yet after finalising the full programme for the 17-sport, 11-day event.
There will be 256 medal events from July 23 to August 3, 2014, with 22 para-sports medal events, the most in the Games to date, Glasgow 2014 has confirmed.
Included for the first time will be a triathlon mixed relay event, tandem para-cycling and additional shooting events for women, with organisers promising all additions will be delivered within existing budgets and frameworks.
