POLICE have appealed for information to help trace three Chinese "healers" who duped a woman.

A woman was approached in the St James Centre, Edinburgh, on Monday last week by two Chinese women on the subject of healing.

They went to the Balmoral Hotel, and were met by a third Chinese woman who offered to bless the woman's valuables.

The woman returned home, put her jewellery and money in a bag and met the women at the corner of West Register Street.

She was told not to open the bag for a few weeks. But when she opened the bag a few days later her possessions were gone.
