THE taxman is set to generate £5 million from a crackdown on pubs and nightclubs in Scotland that have not paid the proper tax.
HM Revenue & Customs yesterday launched a dedicated taskforce to set its sights on the industry north of the Border. It said it would target people with links to criminality and those who do not pay the full amount of tax.
