A SCOTTISH charity has secured a £3.5 million payout following a legal battle with its banking benefactor.
Lloyds TSB Foundation for Scotland won the multi-million pound award after raising an action against Lloyds Banking Group at the Court of Session in Edinburgh.
The charity claimed it was owed the money under a long-standing agreement which entitled it to a percentage of pre-tax profits after the bank acquired Halifax Bank of Scotland.
