TWO in five Scots with learning disabilities will be financially worse off after the introduction of a new disability benefit, a survey has found.

The Learning Disability Alliance Scotland (LDAS) also found one in 10 of those currently getting support will lose it altogether.

Personal Independence Payments (Pips) will be introduced next year and everyone who currently gets Disability Living Allowance (DLA) will be reassessed to see if they qualify.
