A SCOTS chef at the centre of a desperate fundraising campaign to fly him home to die following an attack in Dubai has lost his fight for life.

Chef Martin Carr, 38, was on a life support machine and had been given just days to live following the attack by a man thought to be a complete stranger last month.

His sister, Lorraine Carr, 39, launched a campaign to charter an air ambulance to bring Mr Carr home to die surrounded by his family and friends.
