A CHARITY appeal helping people in East Africa has received more than £7 million in donations from the Scottish public.
In the year since the launch of the Disasters Emergency Committee's (DEC) East Africa Crisis Appeal, the money has funded help for 2.3 million people in the region.
The UK public raised a total of £79m, with Scottish donations including £300,000 collected from the Celtic versus Manchester United legends match.
