TRANSPORT chiefs as pushing ahead with plans to build a controversial £400 million bypass despite its future hanging in the balance.
Aberdeen City Council yesterday said it had sealed a contract for the initial work on the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route. It has awarded £235,000 of work to Edinburgh-based Headland Archaeology Ltd to assess the impact the route could have on historical sites.
