A MAIN thoroughfare which has been disrupted by tram works will reopen to traffic this weekend as the next phase of the project gets under way.
Motorists will be able to drive down Broughton Street in Edinburgh from 5am on Saturday after utility works were completed between there and Cathedral Lane.
But as work gets under way at nearby York Place only buses will be allowed to drive between North St Andrew Street and Broughton Street, with all other traffic diverted round the surrounding area.
