A LARGE tear streaked down Rayyan's cheek as the eight-year-old boy sobbed with emotion, struggling to tell his story.
"I was sleeping next to my younger brother," he said, "when the last shell hit us."
Rayyan was lying prostrate on a thin mattress on the floor, his arm and torso swaddled in a dirty bandage. Weeping sorrowfully, he said: "The Syrian army did this to me."
