LABOUR leader Johann Lamont has claimed Alex Salmond acts in the interests of big business bosses rather than their workers.
Ms Lamont told the Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC) in Dundee yesterday that she is angry with the notion there can be a fairer, more progressive Scotland simply by changing the constitution.
She said: "Whether decisions are made by Scots, English or in Europe, that does not make them more likely to be the right ones."
Ms Lamont focused on SNP policies made in Edinburgh, suggesting they are more geared to people like Jim Ratcliffe, chairman of Grangemouth refinery owner Ineos, and airline chief Willie Walsh.
She said it was the Holyrood administration which gave £1.2m to a debt collection agency to expand its operations.
