NEW life was injected into the Western and Eastern Premier Divisions yesterday as leaders Clydesdale and Watsonians slumped to defeats.

At Titwood, Clydesdale went in as firm favourites against Uddingston, but the visitors landed a morale-boosting six-wicket win.

Batting first, Clydesdale reached a total of 222 – which looked good enough as Uddingston lost opening pair Paul Hoffmann and Amir Gul cheaply.
