HERIOT'S set up a semi-final meeting with Edinburgh rivals Carlton after defeating East Kilbride in the Scottish Cup.

The victory was sealed in the unfamiliar surroundings of Clydesdale's Titwood ground, with Torrance House waterlogged.

Veteran Steve Knox emerged as the protagonist for Heriots as he made light work of both the opposition and the conditions. Knox took his run tally to 87 not out to guide his side to the target of 158 with eight wickets and an over to spare.
