Richie Berrington has revealed how a team meeting in the aftermath of the defeat by Nottinghamshire last weekend acted as the catalyst for Scotland to gain a famous victory over ICC Full Members, Bangladesh.
The 25-year-old was the architect of his side's triumph in The Hague on Tuesday, hitting a superb century from just 55 balls, as his side eventually recorded a 34-run win in the Twenty20 format. That knock came at a cost, though, and the Greenock all-rounder is now a doubt to face Glamorgan as the Saltires resume their CB40 campaign on Sunday. Berrington has picked up a calf strain and was unable to train yesterday, although he is still likely to travel to Cardiff.
