CELTIC'S Champions League preparations took a severe hammering in Amsterdam when Ajax dismantled Neil Lennon's side and showed what awaits them if they qualify for the Group Stages.

Three goals in a 14-minute spell in the first-half left Celtic reeling, while a red card for Charlie Mulgrew midway through the second period, when he conceded a penalty, added to their agony and leaves Lennon with much to ponder 10 days before their opening tie against HJK Helsinki.
