Bayern Munich's "two weeks to shape a season" – as club supremo Uli Hoeness called them – got off on the wrong foot on Wednesday.
They travelled to the Westfalenstadion to take on league-leading Borussia Dortmund and their 80,000 yellow-and-black fanatics, missed a penalty along the way and came out 1-0 losers and six points off the pace in the Bundesliga. There's a very real chance that, on Friday when they face Werder Bremen, the outcome could gift Jurgen Klopp's young Dortmund side their second consecutive title.
