DUNDEE United's European opponents on Thursday, Dinamo Moscow, were plunged into chaos last night when their coach, Sergei Silkin, resigned with their season only three weeks old.
The 51-year-old had been under pressure after Dinamo's 4-0 derby loss on Sunday to Spartak Moscow, which left the Moscow side bottom of the Russian Premier League and pointless after three defeats.
"I am ashamed to comment. I apologise to the fans. Of course, I'm guilty, responsible for everything that happens in a team and on the field and I'm ready for any management decision," said Silkin after the match against Spartak.
