Fraser Forster has indicated that the lure of Champions League football convinced him to agree a four-year permanent contract with Celtic.

The goalkeeper completed the £2m move from Newcastle United yesterday.

Forster has spent the last two seasons on loan at Celtic Park and has now become the club's first signing of the summer. "I want to win things as a team and improve as an individual and I think I will be able to do that at Celtic," said the 24-year-old.
