Peter Houston, the Dundee United manager, last night insisted they hold no fears about their European trip into the unknown to face the Russian side, Dynamo Moscow.

United avoided Barclays Premier League side Liverpool in yesterday's third qualifying round draw but were paired with Dynamo Moscow for their foray into Europe in early August.

The Tannadice side are preparing to host Dynamo, who include the former German internationalist Kevin Kuranyi and the former Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin in their number, for what promises to be a sell-out crowd in less than a fortnight before making the trip to Russia's capital for the return leg a week later.
