TOTTENHAM are unlikely to let Luka Modric leave for less than £40m, according to sources close to the club.
It has been widely reported that Spurs would accept a fee of £35m for the Croatian midfielder, but that figure now appears short of the mark.
Real Madrid are thought to be favourites for Modric's signature, with Manchester United and Paris St Germain also said to be keen on the 26-year-old.
