Steve Brown, chairman of St Johnstone, has expressed his frustration at the uncertainty surrounding the Perth club's Europa League second round qualifying match.

Yesterday's draw paired St Johnstone with Eskisehirspor, yet conflicting reports have suggested the Turkish side could be replaced by league rivals Bursaspor or Besiktas.

Both of those clubs qualified for the competition last season only to be banned following evidence of financial irregularities. Bursapsor have since been reinstated after lodging an appeal, while Besiktas have taken the case to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which is to be held on July 5.
