ELLIOT SALTMAN pocketed £10,000 by romping to victory in the PGA EuroPro Tour's Audi Cork Irish Masters at Fota Island last night, three days after he qualified for the Open Championship.
The 30-year-old Scot, a runner-up on his last visit to Ireland on EuroPro Tour duty at the start of last month, went one better as he closed with a spectacular course record 10-under-par 61 for a 14-under 199 total and an eight-shot win over the Welshman Stuart Manley.
