Phil Mickelson last night performed a late u-turn and will now travel to Castle Stuart for the Scottish Open.
The four-time Major winner had dropped the event from his schedule but, after missing the cut at the Greenbrier Classic, his request for an invitation has been accepted.
Mickelson honed his links game at Castle Stuart last year and went on to share second in the Open the following week.
