Meet Daan Huizing, the man who is leaving his rivals wheezing on behind him on the amateur scene.

Last month, over the venerable links of Royal Lytham, host venue to July's Open, the 21-year-old Dutchman romped to an 11-shot win in the Lytham Trophy. At the weekend, over the New and Old courses in the home of golf, Huizing again ran riot and charged to an astonishing 14-stroke victory in the St Andrews Links Trophy with a 23-under aggregate of 264, a record low for Europe's premier strokeplay contest.
