While the European Tour bandwagon stops off at Castle Stuart in Inverness this week for the Scottish Open, George O'Grady, the tour's chief executive, is in no doubt that there will be another significant event taking place at the other end of the A96 in the not too distant future.
O'Grady joined the official throng on the Aberdeenshire coast yesterday for the opening of the Trump International Golf Links on the Menie estate and was adamant that the multi-million pound creation will become a much sought after venue for tournament golf of the highest standard
