LUKE Patience looks nailed on for a London 2012 medal on his Olympic debut, but rather than sit back and enjoy it, the Aberdeen sailor insists he is ready to fight until the bitter end.

As Games debuts go, you would be hard tasked to find one better than 25-year-old Patience and 470 men's partner Stuart Bithell.

The Great Britain duo kicked things off with a first and second on day one and continued their impressive run of results yesterday with finishes of third and fourth.
