USAIN BOLT stumbled out of his blocks in the first round of the 100 metres in the Olympic stadium yesterday.

Bolt recovered, easing off before winning his heat in 10.09 seconds, more than half a second outside his world record, and only equal ninth of the 24 qualifiers for tonight's three semi-finals.
