Dave Bishop, the US-based Scot, will fly into London over the next 24 hours to prepare for a 3000 metres outing at the new Olympic Stadium in the UK Athletics test event.
He ran the fastest 1500m by a Scot for 18 years at Stanford University last weekend, his time of 3min 37.51sec placing him fifth in the Scottish all-time list and inside the Olympic B standard required for Team Great Britain.
