Scott Harrison insists that his love affair with boxing has been the driving force behind his return to the sport, writes Bert Mitchell.
The former World Boxing Organisation featherweight champion will make his long-awaited comeback on Friday night, at the Kelvin Hall, after 6½ years out of the ring, when he faces the French-Algerian Brahim Bariz.
"Boxing is in my heart and that never changed even when I was in prison," said Harrison. "I always wanted to fight again one day and now I have that chance. To fight on Friday night will be an absolute honour and, given everything at stake, there are a little bit of nerves for me.
