LIFE rarely runs smoothly for Scott Harrison, the former world featherweight champion, as is witnessed by the latest mishap to befall the 34-year-old boxer from Cambuslang.

Harrison's comeback at the Kelvin Hall on Friday evening after six-and-a-half troubled years out of the ring has suffered an unexpected hitch with the announcement yesterday that French-Algerian Brahim Bariz has pulled-out of the contest, for reasons as yet unexplained.
