SCOTLAND have five swimmers confirmed on the British Olympic team – with Robbie Renwick adamant it is one of the strongest quintets selected.
Renwick made certain of London 2012 swims in the 200m and 400m freestyles – taking gold in both – and was just one place away from securing a relay spot in the 100m equivalent.
The 23-year-old was one of the standout trialists at the Aquatics Centre in London, along with fellow Scot Hannah Miley who won the 200m and 400m medleys at a canter to secure her place.
