Redpath warns Gray he still has to prove himself

HE arrived in Sale with a huge reputation for club and country, but head coach Bryan Redpath has already warned Scotland internationalist Richie Gray that past performances will count for nothing.

Gray was one of the stand-out performers for Scotland during last season's disastrous RBS 6 Nations campaign, while he was also impressive on the summer tour to the southern hemisphere, which included a famous 9-6 win against Australia.
