NICOSIA: Former world heavyweight boxing champion Muhammad Ali said
yesterday that, of all the countries he has seen, ''Iran is the
greatest''. During a visit there, Ali, who travels extensively in
promoting Islam despite suffering from Parkinson's syndrome, laid a
wreath at the tomb of the Ayatollah Khomeini and said there was
''extensive propaganda in the US against Moslems, especially Iranians''
but anyone who visited the country saw it was false.
