POLICE appealed for information after a high- value break-in at a house last week.

The stolen items included a grandfather clock, an antique spinning wheel, Japanese vases and highland dress accessories including a dirk, a skean dhu and a sporran.

Police said other antique items and ornaments were also stolen and that some of artefacts are "unique and particularly identifiable".

Fife Constabulary called for help from the public about the break-in to the house in Colinsburgh between Tuesday, December 18, and Sunday, December 23, where they said a large amount of high-value items were stolen.
