FOUR-year-old Kirsten Brownlie, from Falkirk, runs alongside Glasgow’s famous Running Clock to celebrate the fact the timepiece is now telling the right time again.

For years, the clock outside the Buchanan Bus Station gave the wrong time, but it has been repaired following a campaign by local MSP Drew Smith.

The clock was designed by Glasgow-born artist George Wyllie – who died last May, at the age of 90. It was supposed  to be a rendezvous point for travellers and is meant to chime only once a day – at 8pm – which is said to be the perfect meeting time.
