TWO drugs couriers who were arrested after a huge seizure of crack cocaine have been jailed for a total of 11 years.

Marcus Haswell, 31, of Brixton, south London and Victoria Lamb, 26, of Swindon, Wiltshire, were detained after stepping off a train from London at Aberdeen train station on September 1, 2011.

The High Court in Edinburgh heard they had almost 750 grammes of the drug between them, which had a street value of £93,000.

The duo were convicted of being involved in the supply of drugs last month following a trial at the High Court in Dundee.

Haswell was jailed for six years and Lamb was jailed for five years.
