A Bafta award-winning children's writer is facing jail after admitting importing cannabis worth almost £9000.
Austin Low, 28, ordered the package, which was disguised as a box of cookies and was sent from the US.
It was spotted by the UK Border Agency in Coventry.
After opening it, white bags of cannabis were removed and replaced with sugar for a controlled delivery to take place at Low's flat at Highburgh Road in Glasgow's west end.
Officers acted after they received information that the parcel had been opened, at the same time as Low was meant to be receiving an award at a ceremony a few miles away.
Low, from Aberdeen, pled guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to importing the drug between November 14 and 22, 2011.
Low won two Baftas for his writing and performance in the BBC sketch show Hedz.
Sheriff Sam Cathcart deferred sentencing until next month.
