BALLS of hair collected from the award-winning herd of Highland cattle at Pollok Country Park in Glasgow have formed the basis of a new art work.

Rhythms of Time was devised by Glasgow School of Art student Sheena Mayer for the GSA's annual end of year exhibition. It features work by 23 post-graduate graduates from four disciplines: painting, printmaking, sculpture, and fine art photography on the Masters of Letters MLitt Fine Art Practice course.

The free exhibition, which runs until this Sunday, is being staged at the Mackintosh Building in Renfrew Street, Glasgow.
